Responsibilities:

  • Managing a games development team: hiring, onboarding, and motivating employees, planning and organizing their work;
  • Developing internal practices, processes, and tools;
  • Participating in implementing technical solutions: CI\CD, code review, architecture development;
  • Conducting a product development strategy;
  • Ensuring cross-functional interaction with a Design, Product and other departments in evaluation and formulation customer expectations.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar position in a product company or game development studio, managing a team of 5 people or more;
  • Deep understanding of the stack of technologies: JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js. Experience in Go is a plus;
  • Ability to understand others’ code;
  • Communication skills: being able to inspire a team and communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders;
  • Leadership skills: monitoring the team’s business metrics and responding to changes, iterative improvement of team processes according to Agile.
