Graphic Designer in PHILIPPINES

We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer with strong illustration skills to join our creative Philippines team at Diversity Global Magazine, a dynamic and innovative magazine company. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility for part-time roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio that demonstrates proficiency in both graphic design and illustration. You will collaborate closely with editorial, marketing, and production teams to create compelling visual content that enhances reader engagement and upholds our magazine's brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and design layouts for print and digital magazine issues, including covers, spreads, and special features.
• Produce original illustrations and visuals that align with editorial content and enhance storytelling.
• Collaborate with editors, writers, and photographers to produce cohesive, on-brand visual content.
• Develop marketing materials, including digital banners, advertisements, and social media graphics.
• Ensure that designs align with the magazine's visual identity and are produced within set deadlines.
• Prepare files for print production, ensuring high-quality output.
• Stay up to date with the latest design trends, illustration techniques, and software developments to keep our publications fresh and engaging.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
• Above 3 years of experience in graphic design
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with strong illustration skills, preferably within the publishing or media industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and illustration.
• Experience with print production and preparing files for printers.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong portfolio showcasing both editorial design and illustration work.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• English level: Work conversational – the ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English within a professional setting.

Working Hours:

• Part-time: 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM (India Time)

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience in motion graphics or video editing software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
• Knowledge of web design and user interface principles.
• Experience with social media graphics and digital publishing platforms.
