Role responsibilities

  • New business development – prospecting, qualifying of new potential end users in the SA territory
  • Hunting - Lead generation through cold outreach, email, client visits
  • Proposing the right solution to end-user prospects with the aim to generate opportunities
  • Assisting our businesses partners in moving the identified end-user opportunities through the sales cycle with the aim to win the opportunity
  • End-user management – manage and support new and existing end-users, develop relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Actively looks for new opportunities, initiatives and activities to help accelerate the growth of the business in the assigned territory
  • Sales, product and technical presentations / briefings to end-users
  • Attending trade shows & events


Your key attributes & experience needed

  • 3 + years experience in a BDM / Sales role focused on B2B and growing territory
  • Strong solutions selling experience within the technology / ICT industry
  • Strong experience in hunting new business / new business development
  • Experience in selling technology / IT solutions (Hardware, software, Saas, IT services)
  • Strong communication skills & presentation
  • Commercially minded & commercially driven
  • Proven experience generating pipeline & closing deals / exceeding targets
  • Ability to hunt new business & generate pipeline
  • Ability to follow the full sales cycle and close deals
  • Hungry to be successful & driven by a highly lucrative commission scheme
