Job Description
This role involves working closely with our CEO and founder, Mimi, and Head of Growth, Maddy. You will be responsible for executing marketing-related projects from start to finish, including our social media and content redistribution program and our podcast marketing initiatives. You will also be expected to assist in other social media, marketing or product related areas.
Tasks + Responsibilities
Social Media Brand Account Management
While the effort devoted to the brand’s social media channels may change from time to time, depending on the company’s marketing priorities, the Social Media + Marketing Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing the social media strategy for the social media brand accounts. This includes but is not limited to:
Create + collect engaging content
Produce videos or graphics and copyright for captions
Repurpose content across social media channels
Manage social media accounts + pages
Schedule and prepare content according to the social media strategy
Foster + engage with the brand’s social community
Enhance brand presence and growth through social media marketing tactics
Stay updated on social media trends
Identify viral content opportunities
Content Redistribution Program
The Social Media + Marketing Strategist will be responsible for implementing a multi-platform content distribution strategy that maximizes reach and engagement across targeted channels.
Design Funnel for Program:
Scope out what the intended funnel should be from beginning to end
Create a step by step outline of each phase of the audience journey according to the content shown and CTA that brings them further down the funnel
Collect Short Form Content:
Create a system to collect a library of short form content
Ex. Snippets from podcasts
Repurpose content creator clips
Devise + execute a plan for new content creation
Create content yourself
These snippets are designed to capture attention quickly and drive viewers to the main content or product (Superhuman website)
Create a Multi-Platform Presence:
Repurpose content across various social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more.
Adapt the content to fit the specific formats and audiences of each platform to ensure a broader reach and engagement.
Build Out Secondary Accounts:
Create and manage multiple secondary accounts or "fan pages" to circulate content
These accounts are dedicated to sharing short-form versions of his videos, highlights, and key messages
Engagement, Interaction + Consistent Branding:
Despite using multiple accounts and platforms, we should maintain consistent branding across all content
Use similar visual styles, messaging, and calls to action, which helps reinforce brand identity and make content easily recognizable.
Performance Tracking + Data Collection:
Analyze performance metrics for each piece of content and adjust the strategy based on what works best.
This includes monitoring engagement rates, views, shares, and other key performance indicators to optimize future content and distribution tactics.
Marketing Tasks
Podcast Marketing
Communicate and coordinate podcast opportunities
Initial reach out + pitch via email, Instagram DM, or other communication channels to podcast teams, media companies, or other contacts as necessary
Persistently follow up + investigate further to collect a response from any given podcast show
Collect and organize all show information needed to make a decision:
Including rates, insights, demographics, availability, case studies, past performance, unique podcast downloads in the first 30 days, etc.
Coordinate + create of materials needed for campaigns
Produce agreements, founders interview briefs, ad briefs, promo codes, etc.
Influencer Marketing
Communicate and coordinate influencer opportunities
Initial reach out + pitch via email, Instagram DM, or other communication channels to influencer teams, managers / agents or other contacts as necessary
Persistently follow up + investigate further to collect a response from any given influencer show
Collect and organize all influencer information needed to make a decision:
Including rates, insights, demographics, availability, case studies, past performance, etc.
Coordination + creation of materials needed for campaigns
Produce agreements, partnership briefs, promo codes, etc.
ContentCreatorProgram
Manage and expand the content creator program
Identify and reach out to new creators to onboard
Create agreements, update briefs, communicate with creators when needed
Review views of creators and execute changes needed with performance based decisions
Partnership Program management
Manage and maintaining relationships with existing partners
Onboard existing Superhuman users that have high potential from time to time
Implement automation tools to make the program more efficient
Paid Ads
Review content generated by users, content creators, partners and other brand affiliates for potential to repurpose on paid advertising channels (Meta, TikTok, etc.)
Assist with paid ads strategies, copywriting, and reporting
Lifecycle Marketing (Email + Push Notification)
Produce copy and create improvement suggestions for email + push flow
Support with the strategy of both new or existing email flows
Assist with the set-up of email + push notification send settings
Contribute to tracking performance metrics and adjusting strategies accordingly
Other channels that you may need to assist with as needed:
PR
Pitch editors and writing campaign stories
Ambassador program management
Communicate and coordinate with creators
Assist with Apple and Google app listings
Support with app card designs, descriptions, titles, etc.
Respond to reviews
Assist CEO with personal brand management
Assist with Brand Partnerships
Support with ensuring quality and checks across app and website
Coordinate research studies and collaborate on product related tasks
Workflow + Expectations
Organization
Record daily work and progress in Asana board team visibility
Update Google Sheets + Asana tickets accordingly for specific channels
Add / move / change status or section of each ticket
Add information collected via email to each ticket
Comment on the tickets or columns with updates
Create content calendars when necessary
Arrange documents materials in the Dropbox or Drive as needed
Communication + Team Collaboration
Inform the team when we have enough information for a podcast or influencer opportunity to make a decision + review together
Check in with necessary members of the team daily or weekly to provide them updates accordingly
When needed, work closely with external creators, designers, copywriters, and video editors to produce high-quality content
Tracking + Collecting Data
Participate and prepare materials for weekly meetings with senior management to align social media + marketing efforts with business goals in mind and discuss upcoming initiatives.
Create weekly and/or monthly reports on content redistribution program performance, engagement metrics, and campaign effectiveness
Track and review progress for marketing initiatives (ex. podcast outreach response rates)

Salary range: $50,000-65,000 CAD per year
