Workday HCM Systems Lead – Senior Manager level
An experienced Workday HCM Systems Lead is needed by a European business to join as an employee – location London, UK, Barcelona, Spain or Amsterdam, NL. Hybrid working with two days per week required in the office.
The organisation seeks an ambitious, robust and visionary person with hands-on knowledge and experience with HCM as a minimum, though Absence and Time Tracking experience is valuable too. The requirement requires the harmonisation and optimisation of Workday HCM following go-live, the ongoing advancement of Workday, the consideration of additional SaaS HCM tech solutions as well as the building of an HR People Data Analytics capability.
Operational experience, ‘living’ with and enhancing Workday, is required. Additionally, a major focus will be to provide leadership and coaching to x2 junior analysts, supporting a user population of around 1000, so that in the mid/long term, the role can be less hand-on and has a skilled team for the execution. While the role will evolve over time to being a less hands-on role, the focus on ability to provide strategic direction for the overall HR tech stack (beyond Workday) and prioritisation/planning will also grow.

The role will evolve over time from being a tactical/operational role being essentially a Product Owner for Workday to becoming the Product Manager for all HR systems”.
Seeking an ambitious, positive and collaborative person who is service-driven and keen to add value, able to work with autonomy and help educate with the support of Senior Stakeholders. Salary level will vary according to location but is at Senior Manager level. Persons must have existing entitlement to work lawfully in their preferred location.
