Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - 12 Month Contract

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong focus on Network Operations Center (NOC) responsibilities to join our team on a 12-month contract. As an SRE, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems and services. This is a fully remote position based in Poland.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the health and performance of our network and systems.
  • Respond to and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact.
  • Collaborate with NOC team members to identify and address potential issues proactively.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and alerting solutions to detect and respond to anomalies.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Maintain and update documentation for network architecture and operational procedures.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for network incidents and implement preventive measures.
  • Work closely with development and operations teams to improve system reliability and performance.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role with a focus on NOC.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, infrastructure, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with network automation tools and practices.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in network operations.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced technology company.
