We are looking to hire an Android Developer with experience developing native apps in Kotlin or Java. You will join a team of exceptional Android developers with decades of experience building apps used by millions of users. You will work alongside a wider group of kind and talented Software Engineers, Designers, Testers and Project Managers building software for often big-name clients in industries spanning social media, healthcare, banking and travel.
You should be an excellent Programmer with a deep understanding of software development best practices and patterns. You routinely produce well written, maintainable code and can demonstrate significant experience developing native android applications. Being able to point to experience in some of the following areas will be beneficial but these aren't strict requirements and you may have other experience or qualifications that could be relevant but which aren't listed here:
Kotlin or Java (all our new code is Kotlin)
Clean architecture
Rx
Unit testing with JUnit and mocking frameworks
DI Frameworks
Version control with git
Working with accessibility requirements
Cloud based or server side development
Web or hybrid app development
CI / CD
Communicating and collaborating as part of a distributed team
