Position Overview:
As a Shopify Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Shopify stores. You will collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to create user-friendly, visually appealing, and fully functional e-commerce sites that drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.

Position Overview:
As a Shopify Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Shopify stores. You will collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to create user-friendly, visually appealing, and fully functional e-commerce sites that drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Development: Develop and maintain the shopify website, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
- Theme Customization: Design, customize, and implement Shopify themes and templates in alignment with brand requirements and UX/UI best practices
- Functionality Enhancement: Customize Shopify functionalities through Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to meet specific client needs
- Feature Implementation: Implement new features and functionalities, such as product pages, payment gateways, and custom plugins
- API Integration: Work with Shopify's API to develop custom apps and integrations
- Integration Management: Set up and manage third-party app integrations, payment gateways, and shipping solutions to streamline operations
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the website for speed, performance, mobile responsiveness, ensuring a seamless shopping experience
- Troubleshooting & Support: Promptly identify and resolve technical issues related to the Shopify platform & integrations; provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Shopify stores
- SEO and Marketing Integration: Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate promotional campaigns and enhance SEO
- Stay Updated on eCommerce Best Practices: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in e-commerce and Shopify development
- Version Control: Familiar with Git and other development tools to tackle deployment
- Testing and QA: Include responsibilities around ensuring all customizations are thoroughly tested for bugs, and experience with tools like Shopify's native preview/testing tools or third-party QA platforms
- Proven experience working with Shopify & Shopify Plus as a Shopify Developer with a strong portfolio of e-commerce projects
- Proficient in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with Shopify's API and custom app development
- Experience integrating Meta, Google, and Klaviyo pixels with Shopify stores
- Experience with Third-Party App Integrations - ex. Klaviyo, Attentive, Okendo, etc
- Strong understanding of responsive design, mobile-first development, and cross-browser compatibility
- Possess a clear understanding e-commerce best practices, including SEO, UX/UI design, and optimization of conversion rates
- Understand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and their correlation to development efforts
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with an international, remote team
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
