Our Ohio client is seeking a fully remote Strategic Project Coordinator. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities
Support project managers in the development and execution of project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Assist in coordinating project activities, resources, and communications among cross-functional teams.
Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates and status reports to stakeholders.
Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes to ensure effective communication and follow-up on action items.
Identify potential project risks and issues, assisting in the development of mitigation strategies.
Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
Collaborate with IT teams to gather and analyze project requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies within the organization.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in IT project coordination or project management
Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Basic understanding of IT concepts and terminology.
