We are looking for Passionate and hard-working Web Developers who want to live and work in Canada region under Work and PR Visa.
The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who will work in coordination with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our next generation websites and web tools. You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take lead on new innovations and projects.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing HTML, CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less), and JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) to create interactive and responsive user interfaces (UI).
- Implementing server-side logic using backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, Flask) and database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
- Designing and consuming RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
- Using Git and version control platforms (e.g., GitHub, GitLab) for code management, collaboration, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Performing unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing using testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Jasmine) and debugging tools for code optimization and bug fixing.
- Implementing web security measures such as HTTPS, CSRF protection, content security policies (CSP), and authentication mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth) to safeguard user data and prevent cyber threats.
- Optimizing website performance through code minification, lazy loading, caching strategies, and image optimization techniques.
- Ensuring search engine optimization (SEO) best practices and web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) are met for better visibility and usability.
- Collaborating with DevOps teams for infrastructure provisioning, containerization (e.g., Docker), and deployment automation using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
- Work with cross-functionally to enhance overall user experience of our platforms
- Own various design tasks involved in the web development life cycle from start to finish
- Staying updated with emerging web technologies, industry standards, and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
- At least 4+ years' of experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proficiency in at least one server-side technology (Java, PHP, NodeJS, Python, Ruby)
- Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), backend frameworks (Express.js, Django, Flask), and ORM tools for database interactions.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Analytical thinking, troubleshooting abilities, and a proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges in web development.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and ability to collaborate with designers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
