Cloud DevOps Engineer in AMSTERDAM AREA

What are you going to do:

As a Senior Automation Engineer in the banking sector, you will be tasked with the innovative challenge of automating processes through data inputs from network devices and configurations.

This pivotal role involves developing and managing homegrown automation tooling within Azure using PowerShell, coupled with comprehensive Azure infrastructure management. You will be responsible for deploying code through Azure pipelines leveraging CI/CD principles to enhance operational efficiency.

Furthermore, your role extends to providing visibility and reporting through tools like PowerBI, ensuring transparency and actionable insights. Acting as the second in command within the tooling development virtual team, you will also lead code reviews, promoting best practices and high-quality outputs.

Situated within the dynamic and evolving banking industry, your position will be based in Amsterdam, where you will contribute to the forefront of financial technology innovations.

What are we looking for:

• Hard Skills & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Programming skills in C# with practical experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with secure coding practices, unit testing, and implementing quality gates.
• Experience with Azure YML pipelines and Azure configuration using command line and API.
• Familiarity with Azure Infra as Code using Bicep/Terraform.

Other Experiences & Certifications:

• Industry certifications (Microsoft Azure, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks) are a plus.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible for network automation.
• Proficiency in English.

What are we offering:

• Salary Package & Benefits: A competitive salary ranging from €5,000 to €6,000 gross per month, plus an 8.33% holiday allowance and travel reimbursement.
• Contract Type: Contracting to Perm.
• Work Format: Hybrid (2 days per week in the office).
