I am looking for an experienced software engineer for an initial 6 month contract. This is an outside IR35 opportunity and can be done fully remotely as long as you have working rights to work within the EU.
Requirements
Kotlin Development: Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing applications using Kotlin and an overal experience of at least 5 years.
Spring Framework: Strong experience working with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud for building scalable and resilient applications.
Microservices & Event-Driven Architecture: Solid understanding of microservice architecture, event-driven design patterns, and experience in designing and implementing RESTful services.
Message Brokers: Practical experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ for asynchronous communication.
AWS Services: Familiarity with AWS services like SQS, S3, and Kinesis, and how they integrate into microservice architecture.
Kubernetes: Proven experience in deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes environments.
Infrastructure as Code: Basic understanding and experience working with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
Preferred Experience
Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and best practices in cloud-native development.
