Operational Technology (OT) Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced OT Engineer to support and implement Industrial Control Systems (ICS) in compliance with company policies and standards. The OT Engineer will collaborate with Process Control, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Audit, Governance, and leadership to enhance operational performance and cybersecurity within our manufacturing facilities. This role also supports the local mill site and integrates IT policies into the OT domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead OT systems support at the mill and support IT/OT integration efforts.
• Manage the full life cycle of OT/ICS equipment.
• Implement ICS standards per corporate policy.
• Collaborate with Audit, Governance, and Cyber teams to deliver support.
• Lead Incident Response and provide OT/Cyber leadership in meetings.
• Oversee DCS/QCS implementations and manage vendor relationships.
• Support ICS systems and manage local OT engineering projects.
• Manage mill IT/OT projects and budgets.
• Maintain communication with leadership on OT activities.
• Provide on-call support as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Networking, Engineering, or related field or relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• 3+ years of experience in OT systems support and integration, including managing process control applications and IT/OT infrastructure in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of control systems (DCS, PLCs, HMIs) and ICS protocols (OPC, HART, Profinet, etc.).
• Experience with industrial networking, firewalls, and manufacturing technology solutions.
• Familiarity with Purdue ISA95, NIST Framework, and ISA 62443 standards.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
