The IT company Andersen invites a Stellar Blockchain Developer to work on a project for one of our Swiss customers.
The customer is an innovative organization dedicated to addressing gaps in the gaming industry. Recognizing the limitations of traditional gaming platforms, it focuses on creating decentralized solutions that facilitate skill-based challenges and secure financial payouts. By leveraging blockchain technology, the customer aims to provide a compliant and seamless experience for gamers, while also opening new revenue streams for game studios.
The project aims to revolutionize the gaming industry by developing a comprehensive, decentralized platform. This platform will enable gamers to participate in skill-based challenges and receive financial payouts in a secure and compliant manner.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and architecting blockchain solutions leveraging Stellar’s capabilities, including token issuance, smart contracts, and decentralized applications.
- Leading the development and deployment of Stellar-based applications.
- Integrating Stellar with existing business systems and processes, such as payment gateways, financial platforms, or enterprise applications.
- Implementing cross-border payment solutions using Stellar’s network and features like Path Payments.
- Ensuring that all blockchain implementations meet industry security standards.
- Advising on compliance with regulatory frameworks, including KYC/AML requirements within the context of Stellar-based financial services.
- Providing strategic advice on how blockchain can be leveraged to meet business objectives.
- Developing a roadmap for blockchain adoption and evolution within the organization.
- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of Stellar-based applications.
- Troubleshooting issues related to the Stellar network and implementing fixes.
- Liaising with business leaders, developers, and external partners.
- Preparing and delivering presentations and reports.
- Educating internal teams on Stellar blockchain technology and its applications.
- Creating documentation and resources to support ongoing processes.
- Keeping up with the latest updates in the Stellar ecosystem and blockchain industry.
- Evaluating and recommending new tools, technologies, or protocols that could benefit the business.
Must-haves:
- Proven experience in developing and deploying solutions on the Stellar blockchain network.
- Deep understanding of Stellar Consensus Protocol (SCP) and Stellar’s decentralized exchange (DEX) functionality.
- Strong knowledge of blockchain technology fundamentals and various consensus mechanisms.
- Experience with cryptocurrency token issuance, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (DApps).
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in blockchain development, such as JavaScript, Python, or Go.
- Hands-on experience with Stellar SDKs and APIs.
- Familiarity with Horizon API and Stellar Core for node management.
- Experience integrating Stellar with external systems, including payment gateways, wallets, and other blockchain networks.
- Understanding of security best practices in blockchain implementations.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to blockchain and cryptocurrency, especially within the Stellar ecosystem.
- Knowledge of financial services, payments, remittances, or banking industries, especially as they relate to blockchain solutions.
- Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into effective blockchain solutions within the Stellar ecosystem.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in documentation and training teams.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Nice-to-haves:
- Development experience in Ethereum, Ripple.
