As an Electronics Engineer at Aquila, you will lead the design and development of high-performance radio systems to power our core wireless energy transfer technology. You'll take ownership from initial requirements to scalable solutions, ensuring systems meet regulatory standards with performance and reliability. You'll be an essential technical expert on EMI/EMC design practices and play a leadership role in mentoring the electronics team. This is a hands-on, dynamic role where your contribution will directly drive the success of our projects and company mission.


Responsibilities:

  • Leading the complete end-to-end PCB design process, including requirements gathering, component selection, schematic and layout design, validation, and integration.
  • Improving the performance and reliability of radio systems while ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements for EMI/EMC.
  • Building strong internal knowledge of signal and power integrity design and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Participating in cross-disciplinary discussions to help shape system architecture and product strategy.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience building high-performance RF systems.
  • Strong RF and analog electronics design expertise, focusing on signal integrity and EMC.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard CAD tools (Altium or KiCad) and electronics simulation tools.
  • Familiarity with common communication standards (CAN, I2C, SPI, USB, Ethernet) and embedded systems.
  • Experience with HITL testing systems and familiarity with Python, MATLAB, or similar scripting languages.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a drive to build world-class technology.
