We are looking for Passionate and hard-working Software Engineers who want to live and work in Canada region under Work and PR Visa.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software systems, ensuring code quality through rigorous testing and debugging processes. They will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, contribute to technical documentation, and stay abreast of emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency in software development.
Responsibilities
- Architecting and developing scalable and performant software solutions leveraging object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns like MVC or MVVM.
- Employing agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban for iterative and incremental software development, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
- Implementing comprehensive test strategies, including unit testing with frameworks like JUnit or pytest, integration testing, and automated testing using tools like Selenium or Jest.
- Utilizing version control systems like Git for collaborative development, branching strategies (e.g., GitFlow), and continuous integration (CI) pipelines with platforms like Jenkins or Travis CI.
- Designing and optimizing database schemas using relational databases (SQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Employing microservices architecture, containerization with Docker, and orchestration with Kubernetes for scalable and resilient software deployment.
- Conducting code reviews, static code analysis using tools like SonarQube or ESLint, and performance profiling to ensure code quality, security, and optimization.
- Monitoring application performance and availability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Implementing security best practices, such as data encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT), and staying compliant with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Collaborating with DevOps teams for infrastructure provisioning using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation, and continuous deployment (CD) automation with tools like Ansible or Chef.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Development experience with programming languages
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, JavaScript.
- Understanding of database management systems (DBMS) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Oracle, including database design, SQL, and NoSQL concepts.
- Knowledge of software security concepts, secure coding practices, authentication mechanisms, encryption techniques, and compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, present technical ideas, and document technical specifications, design documents, and code changes.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and best practices in software engineering
