Position: Salesforce Software Engineer

Location: Wichita, KS – 5 days onsite but could be hybrid later on

*Relocation Assistance offered

Duration: Permanent, but open to contract to hire

Salary: $130,000 - $135,000 annually / Hourly Rate: $62-68/hr

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience building and deploying applications on Salesforce.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce development tools and best practices, including:
  • Building custom features and functionalities (Apex, Lightning)
  • Designing user interfaces (Lightning)
  • Managing data and security (data model, reports, dashboards)
  • Integrating with other systems (APIs)
  • Experience using source code control systems (Git preferred).

Plusses:

  • Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Gearset, etc.
  • Experience mentoring junior software engineers in technical aspects
  • Experience with developing Marketing Cloud or Sales Cloud modules
  • Platform I or II certifications or TrailBlazer

A client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a Sr Salesforce Developer to join their organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Developer to build custom solutions and automate processes. You'll leverage knowledge of the Salesforce development lifecycle (SDLC) to design and implement new features, user interfaces (UI) in Lightning, and integrate them using Gearset for CI/CD pipeline. Some Lightning maintenance is involved, the focus leans heavily on backend development using Apex for custom rules, triggers, and event-driven architectures. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in collaboration and possesses strong initiative, as there's potential for future leadership within the team.
