- European logistics, warehouse, robotics & automation company with 500+ staff.
- Providing software for autonomous robotics, growing at 20% year on year
- Malaysian is the new regional tech hub
- Supporting regional project implementation and customisations
- A.I enabled robotic warehouse management system - leveraging IOT sensors and Machine Learning
- Gather and access user requirements and put in place a development road map
- Configuration of modules to suit customers workflows and integrate via APIs
- Maintain existing software, handle bug fixes / Jira tickets & provide L3 support
- Work on new features and new version releases for each module.
- Write high quality, reusable and testable and maintainable code
- Newly assembled team of 10 in Malaysia who all work hybrid or remotely.
- The Malaysian team supports APAC clients and Australian Project Managers.
- The team have warehouse management system experience you can learn from
- Java 5+ years
- Independent self learner who wants to work in a highly specialized industry
- Atlassian / Jira
- Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP
- Linux
- Individual Contributor IC role
- 5-10 years engineering experience and be able to work with little supervision
- Must be ok to self learn warehouse management software / modules
- 100% remotely or 1-2 day hybrid, the team do meet for important meetings
- Flexible start and finish times but sometimes need to take a early / late call
- You can work remotley live anywhere in Malaysia (JB, Penang, KL, Sabah etc)
- Senior Back End Engineers, Java Engineers or IT business Analysts
- Experience from, EU, MNC or software house (corporate customers) welcome
- Any experience in 3PL, logistics, warehouse automation is a bonus
