Your future contribution:
As an IT Specialist at Smoobu, you will serve as the go-to expert for all things IT. Smoobu has grown from 25 to 70 employees over the past year, so key projects will involve building and rolling out asset management processes/tools, enterprise software management, enterprise security tools and on/off boarding processes.
You'll have the chance to lead these initiatives independently, with the added benefit of support from our parent company, HTG, where you'll find a seasoned and well-established IT team.
Beyond the regular day-to-day tasks, this position also offers the chance to collaborate closely with our engineering and tech specialist team who engage with external technical challenges. This will give you flexibility and experience for exploring career growth opportunities beyond your designated role.
This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members across different departments. Your contribution will directly impact the efficiency of our operations and the productivity of our teams.
How you'll add value:
- Streamline IT operations and enhance efficiency through collaboration with HR and various technical teams.
- Manage the lifecycle of IT assets and accesses from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring employees have the tools they need from start to finish.
- Provide top-tier first and second-level support, quickly resolving hardware and software issues to keep user satisfaction high.
- Keep our IT inventory precise and up-to-date, while also setting up and maintaining technology in meeting spaces as well as for the all hands, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Support the rollout of essential business tools and software, including threat management and password management systems, enhancing our security posture and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with other IT departments within the HTG group on special projects, ensuring our IT strategies are cohesive and resources are optimized.
- When our internal systems are running smoothly you'll support external IT projects, broadening your influence and role beyond just our immediate needs.
You'll be successful in this role if you:
- Bring solid IT support experience with a talent for troubleshooting with expertise in asset management, software management, and security tools, plus experience with Mobile Device Management tools.
- Are hands-on, eager to understand and fix problems.
- Are curious and committed to growth, always looking to improve and embrace new technologies.
- Are self-driven and organized, ready to tackle challenges independently and can effectively juggle multiple tasks and projects at once.
- Support both internal and external users with enthusiasm and a service-oriented mindset.
