Job Summary:We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to join our engineering team. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing GMSE for satellite systems. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop GMSE for satellites, ensuring high standards of safety and reliability.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to create detailed 3D models and drawings using CAD software.
- Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to simulate the behavior of components under various physical conditions, such as stress and temperature.
- Analyze and interpret designs, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Assist in the assembly, testing, and validation of prototypes.
- Provide ongoing technical support for manufacturing processes and system integration.
- Continuously seek opportunities for innovation and improvement in design processes and solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to read and understand designs, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Previous experience in aerospace or satellite-related industries is a plus but not required.
