About The Role
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Product Label Designer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually compelling product labels that align with branding standards across various SKUs. This role requires a keen eye for design, attention to detail, and a passion for consumer packaging.
Responsibilities:
- Design Label Outputs: Create product labels based on brand guidelines, pulling necessary details such as ingredients and product information from Excel databases.
- Brand-Specific Design: Ensure that label designs are consistent with product branding across different SKUs, maintaining brand identity in every design.
- Internal Label Versions: Develop internal versions of product labels to build and maintain an internal database of product packaging designs.
- Back of Pack Labels: Design the back of pack labels, ensuring all regulatory, ingredient, and product information is accurate and clearly presented.
- Playbook Development and Documentation: Collaborate with team members to create a playbook, document design processes, and continuously improve workflows for label design.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in product label design or any relevant role.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Open to feedback and coachable, with a willingness to learn and adapt to brand-specific requirements.
- Proven experience in designing product labels for consumer packaging, with a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret product details accurately and translate them into label designs.
- Exceptional attention to detail, especially regarding font styles, hex colors, and alignment to ensure consistency with brand guidelines.
- Able to manage repetitive tasks with enthusiasm and maintain a high standard of creativity in every design.
