We develop cloud-and-Kubernetes-native GitOps tooling for deploying heavyweight Dynatrace clusters on AKS, GKE and EKS.
Our work is a crucial part of the Dynatrace release cycle, so we take everyday care of it and enable other teams across the whole company to use it effectively.
Your role
Design and develop
Terraform logic for creating and modifying Kubernetes clusters in Azure/GKE/AWS
Go/bash/Python logic for managing the deployment and lifecycle of heavyweight clusters running on top of Kubernetes
Research new Kubernetes technologies and design their usage in our tooling
Take day-to-day care of the state of our tooling on production.
Analyse the usage of our tooling and plan its development accordingly
Be an evangelist for the Kubernetes mindset among other development teams
Work on tooling documentation and learning strategies
Qualifications
Proficient software engineer in Go and (bash or Python)
2+ years of hands-on experience and knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and operations
Good Linux administration and shell scripting skills
Experience in operating one of the clouds: Azure, GCP, AWS
Proficiency in maintenance, such as Kubernetes patches and production application upgrades
Great teamwork skills and good English communication skills
