Title: Security Engineer

Location: Los Angeles Metro area - 5 days onsite - RELOCATION SERVICES AVAILABLE

Compensation: $140,000-$190,000

One of the world's leading global providers of networking devices and smart home products is hiring for two Security Engineers to design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure to protect our systems and data. Ideal candidates will have expertise in security protocols and practices to safeguard against threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain security infrastructure (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption).
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Lead incident response and collaborate on resolutions.
• Perform security audits and ensure compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Conduct penetration tests and ethical hacking.
• Develop and deliver security awareness training.
• Integrate security into DevOps pipelines.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports on security incidents and risk mitigation measures.
• Monitor security events and anomalies in real-time using SIEM tools and respond to security breaches in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in security engineering.
• Strong knowledge of security tools and protocols.
• Scripting/programming proficiency (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Cloud security knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CISM) are a plus.
