Summary
As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining the vision for our games, driving product strategies, and ensuring an engaging player experience. You’ll collaborate with talented teams across design, development, and data science to bring your vision to life, guiding projects from concept to completion while maintaining a player-focused approach.
Responsibilities
• Define and execute the product vision and strategy for mobile game development, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends.
• Lead the product team in the design, development, and optimization of game features, mechanics, and LiveOps activities.
• Conduct thorough testing of the game from start to finish, ensuring that all features, mechanics, and updates meet the highest quality standards before release.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate game performance, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring a seamless player experience.
• Assign tasks to team members, track progress, and ensure all tasks are completed on time and to the expected standard, taking corrective action when necessary.
• Analyze game data, player feedback, and market trends to drive data-informed product decisions and improve user engagement, retention, and monetization.
• Structure and monitor A/B tests to optimize game features and offer insights based on statistical analysis.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, development, marketing, monetization, and data science, to deliver high-quality game experiences.
• Develop and maintain a roadmap for ongoing feature development and LiveOps updates, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
• Manage the game lifecycle from concept through live operations, driving continuous improvement based on player behavior and industry insights.
• Stay up-to-date with mobile gaming trends, analyze competitor products, and provide insights to the team to maintain a competitive edge.
• Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on creativity and excellence.
• Develop and maintain complex game economy models and ensure effective balancing through data analysis and player feedback.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to create and manage detailed reports, projections, and game economy models.
• Leverage Machinations or other game economy design tools to simulate and optimize in-game systems and economic flows.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, with a strong background in mobile gaming (casual, mid-core, or free-to-play models).
• Proven track record in successfully leading game development projects and launching mobile games.
• Mastery of Excel, with experience in building and analyzing game economy models, as well as creating detailed reports.
• Exceptional analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making, experimental design, and multivariate testing.
• Passion for games and a deep understanding of mobile game development, mechanics, and player engagement strategies.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Game Design, Computer Science, Business, or similar discipline.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
