Our UNITE solution is a SaaS Product that provides best-in-class eSIM technology to deliver connectivity to customers. It is an in-house built Cloud Native AWS hosted solution. Partners and clients can access UNITE via number of channels like API, eCommerce, Mobile app, Vending machine, Kiosk, Retail UI, Retail POS or white label. Product roadmap is centred around building further mass market adoption features.
The Integration Technical Lead will oversee our B2B client and supplier integration, Speed to Market (STM) development team, guiding technical direction, ensuring code quality, and providing hands-on expertise in application integration. The Tech Lead will work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver best-in-class application integration. You are an expert in API and file based application integration.
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership to the Speed to Market development team.
- Make architectural decisions, design solutions, and establish best practices and coding standards.
- Own adoption of best in class API application integration patterns and practices
- Champion security by design and operations by design application integration
- Provide technical sales and presales to business teams
Code Quality Assurance:
- Review code, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
- Promote and implement automated testing and code review processes.
Mentorship:
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
- Assist with skill development and training.
Communication:
- Collaborate with 3rd party suppliers and business clients to drive and align on architecture, integration and technical solutions.
- Demonstrate existing or proposed functional and technical solutions to business and clients.
- Collaborate with product managers to understand feature requirements and provide technical insights.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, QA, and backend developers.
Hands-On Development:
- Lead by example by contributing high-quality code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
Project Management:
- Estimate development timelines, ensuring projects remain on track.
- Manage risks and address any technical debt or challenges.
Stay Updated:
- Stay current with industry trends and new technologies.
- Introduce and integrate new tools or technologies as required.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record in leading teams.
- Experience in application integration using API, file and other patterns
- Experience in defining, maintain an API interface including versioning, authentication and authorization (OAuth2, OICD)
- Experience in Spring framework, Java, SQL.
- Strong understanding of application integration architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of Java 17, Spring Boot, MySQL, Redis
- Understanding of Python, AWS (Cognito, Lambda, SES, SQS), Docker
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and release management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
