Role Overview:
As the CTO you’ll lead & colab the development of our application and future tech growth. Our web app is already in progress, so we need a hands-on CTO to take control, guide its completion and lead the technical direction of the company. The tech stack includes React.js (frontend), Node.js (backend), MongoDB (database), and Restful API (matchmaking). Prior experience with AI/ML is a bonus, as we plan to enhance our matchmaking process with these technologies in the future.
We also value previous CTO experience and a Master’s in Computer Science degree. Candidates with backgrounds in matchmaking-based startups will be given preference.
Though the role is fully remote, we encourage candidates from Europe, the UK, or the USA to apply. Our team gathers annually in Los Angeles for collaborative work sessions and team-building activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• MVP Development: Oversee and manage the current MVP, ensuring timely completion and high-quality output.
• Technical Leadership: Lead tech strategy and decisions, guiding the future of Pitchndeal’s platform.
• AI/ML Integration: Work on implementing AI/ML to improve the matchmaking algorithm.
• Hands-On Coding: Contribute directly to coding and product development.
• Scalability & Security: Ensure the platform’s scalability and security as it grows.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and executive team to align technical goals with business objectives.
Qualifications:
• Education: Master’s in Science preferred, with a strong foundation in Computer Science.
• Experience: Prior CTO experience and hands-on coding experience in React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, and Restful APIs.
• Matchmaking Expertise: Experience in a matchmaking-based startup environment is a big advantage.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead a technical team and manage product development in a fast-paced startup.
• AI/ML Knowledge: Bonus for experience with AI/ML model development.
