Role:
As a Junior QA Automation Engineer at Tektome, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You’ll work closely with the development and QA teams to design, implement, and maintain automated test cases, ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards. Your role will involve both manual and automated testing, focusing on improving the overall efficiency of the QA process.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools
Execute manual and automated test cases across different environments and platforms
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and define test plans
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of test automation processes
Monitor and report on test execution, providing clear insights on product quality and performance
Assist in the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests
Ensure that test coverage and execution meet project deadlines and quality expectations
Must-Have Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation
Familiarity with automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks
Experience in writing and executing test cases for web applications
Basic understanding of CI/CD processes and tools
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Business Level English proficiency
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Exposure to performance testing and tools like JMeter or Gatling or Locust
Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured
Basic programming knowledge in Python or JavaScript
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker
