The Business Analyst will work across a wide range of projects from strategic growth, operational optimization, market analysis, and more, providing a highly varied working model and the opportunity to gain experience across a broad range of business areas.
The role will focus not only on providing insights to support strategy, but also analysis to support Thought Leadership as well as providing additional value to our customers through industry insight. The role will combine research, analysis, and strategic thinking and offers a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing global business and deliver real impact.
✅Responsibilities
- Support key strategic decision-making through research and analysis, including but not limited to: market research, competitor intelligence, customer insight, and analysis
- Develop a deep understanding of market trends through research and data analysis, and collaborate with relevant functional leaders to support strategy
- Enhance the value provided to our customers by creating regular reports on market trends based on market research and analysis of our own customer data
- Support the effectiveness of our Thought Leadership content by collaborating with the Marketing team to provide data-driven insights from our extensive internal datasets
- Develop and maintain a structured approach to competitor intelligence to ensure teams across the business are kept up to date with the competitive landscape
- Research external data sources (both qualitative and quantitative) and leverage these to help drive strategy
- Conduct primary research where needed to support market understanding and review growth opportunities
- Support prioritization of initiatives by developing business cases related to growth opportunities, product strategy, and opportunities for operational optimization
- Think creatively about how different data and research sources can be leveraged to answer strategic questions
- Present analysis and research in clear and compelling reports for senior leadership and the broader organization to support strategic alignment
✅Essential
- BSc in Mathematics or a related subject, or clear evidence of mathematical capabilities
- 10+ years' experience in consulting or analytical role
- Excellent capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint; SQL capabilities are not essential but would be an advantage
- Proven ability to conduct effective research (both desk-based and through primary interviews)
- Excellent ability to present data analyses in a clear and compelling manner to senior leaders
