The IT company Andersen invites an experienced System Administrator (Windows) to join its team for working with a company from the UK. 

 

The customer is a UK-based next-generation integrated global payment ecosystem with the clear mission to change how money is moved around the world. The company currently supports cross-network operability globally across Mastercard, Visa, China UnionPay and local ACH and payment schemes, providing over 40 payment methods for online SMEs. 

 

The project aims to leverage the customer’'s cutting-edge technology and expertise to provide individuals and businesses with fast, secure, and cost-effective payment services across borders. 

 

Must-haves: 

- Experience as a System Administrator for 3+ years. 

- Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Windows Server operating systems.  

- Experience with server roles (AD, DNS, NPS, RDS, CA, IIS, File Server, Print Server, WSUS). 

- Understanding of Postgres, Oracle. 

- Experience with Zabbix or Prometheus. 

- Experience in MS SQL administration (Backup, cluster configuration and maintenance). 

- Experience with Packer, Ansible, Terraform and scripting languages, particularly PowerShell. 

- Experience in managing and maintaining Active Directory services, including group policies, and domain controllers. 

- Extensive experience with e-mail services (Google Workspace). 

- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations. 

- Familiarity with security best practices, including firewall management, antivirus solutions, and intrusion detection systems. 

- Proficiency in maintaining backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam B&R). 

- Knowledge of server hardware components and the ability to perform hardware upgrades, repairs, and maintenance as needed. 

- Skills to monitor system performance using monitoring tools. 

- Strong problem-solving skills and documentation skills. 

- Understanding of regulatory compliance standards, such as GDPR or PCI DSS. 

- Experience with GitLab. 

- Experience with VMware. 

- Experience with AWS, GCP. 

- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
