Fixed are bringing it online to with a managed marketplace for construction jobs. An automated temp agency, in other words. πŸ‘·πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ‘·πŸΌπŸ—οΈ


We have over 12,000 workers signed up and contracts with some of the UK's largest construction companies (J Coffey, UK Power Networks, GetJar and many more). We are early-stage but are backed by some of Europe's top VCs.


Responsibilities

We have a NextJS frontend and our backend is built on Python Django. Once you know your way around the codebase you will:Β 

  • Talk to our commercial team to understand customer feedback and requirements
  • Collaborate with frontend to deliver on these
  • Make and explain architectural trade-offs to non-engineering colleagues
  • Database modelling via Django's ORM
  • Creating and maintaining endpoints with Django's Ninja API
  • Write and run tests for all backend functionality
  • Monitoring and debugging production issues


Experience (Required)

  • Using English in professional setting
  • 4+ years backend dev experience (incl. architecture and SQL DB work)
  • Autonomous achievement (eg own startup or early-stage role)
  • Legal right to work within EU without sponsorship


Experience (Ideal)

  • Python Django APIs
  • Python Django Admin portal
  • Communicating directly with non-engineering colleagues (think like a "Product Manager")
  • Performance monitoring and tuning (in code and SQL)
  • Using Spanish in professional setting
