Senior DevSecOps/Cloud Security Engineer (AWS) in BULGARIA

We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps/Cloud Security Engineer with extensive experience in AWS Cloud Security and DevSecOps methodologies to join our team. You will play a key role in designing and implementing resilient, secure cloud infrastructures that proactively mitigate security threats. If you have a strong background in AWS services and a deep understanding of cloud security, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build resilient cloud infrastructures with a focus on security.
• Develop and assess cloud security solutions for systems, databases, and networks.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and security audits, making recommendations to ensure appropriate controls are in place.
• Monitor security incidents and threats by analyzing logs and other data sources.
• Implement network and security disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Create detailed security reports for both technical and managerial audiences.
• Collaborate with the team to shape security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Regulate and monitor access to sensitive data, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.
• Support end users with network and security-related issues.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with a minimum of 2+ years in Information Security, focused on cloud security.
• Proficiency with AWS services (IAM, VPC, S3, EC2, RDS, CloudTrail, Config, GuardDuty, WAF, etc.).
• Experience in securing AWS resources and designing secure infrastructures.
• Hands-on experience with network security and configuring monitoring tools from a security perspective (Grafana, Prometheus, EFK).
• Strong understanding of current threats to cloud infrastructure and expertise in preventing such risks.
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.).
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Upper-Intermediate English (both written and spoken).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Azure, Oracle Cloud, or container security.
• Expertise in Terraform for cloud infrastructure management.
