Social Media Manager in CANADA

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to join our media client to oversee and manage their social media accounts for their country music brand! By bridging the gap from the digital to the physical world, our client provides their communities with unforgettable experiences and products that define culture.

As the Social Media Manager for their country music brand, you will work alongside other social team members to strategize content pieces and be a driving force in growing their brand on social. We're looking for a creative individual, passionate about the country music space and who can manage the follower base of over 1M.

Responsibilities:

• Driving growth across multiple social accounts
• Create, public and curate content real time to stay on top of industry trends
• Develop and implement social media strategies to achieve objectives, increase brand awareness, and drive audience engagement
• Manage a social content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting of content
• Monitor social trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
• Roll out stories, breaking news, and editorial content real time throughout the day and into the evenings/weekend hours
• Create copy and work within Photoshop to create formatted posts and graphics

Experience:

• 2+ years experience working on social media accounts, preferably within the music, entertainment, or sports industries
• Basic experience with Photoshop and Canva to use templated designs for curating content
• Strong knowledge and passion for country music
• Strong communication skills and experience working within a team setting
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written skills
• Experience pulling and interpreting data to drive decision-making on social platforms
• Bonus if you have experience working within the country music space!
