We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Procurement Data Analyst to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and a passion for leveraging data to drive strategic procurement decisions. The Procurement Data Analyst will play a key role in analyzing procurement data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and optimizing supplier relationships.


Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Cleansing:

Gather, clean, and organize procurement data from various sources including ERP systems, supplier databases, and purchasing platforms.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness for analysis purposes.

  • Data Analysis:

Analyze procurement data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

Utilize statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques to forecast demand, track supplier performance, and optimize inventory levels.


  • Cost Analysis and Savings Identification:

Conduct cost analysis to identify areas of spending and opportunities for cost savings through negotiation, consolidation, and process optimization.

Track procurement savings initiatives (PPV & Freight costs) and report on realized & potential savings to management.


  • Reporting and Visualization:

Develop dashboards and reports to visualize procurement metrics and performance indicators.

Present findings and recommendations to procurement leadership and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement analytics or a related role within the procurement or supply chain function.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including Power Query, Excel, Power Automate, and data visualization software (Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • English is a must
  • Excel & Power Bi is a must too


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with procurement systems (Oracle would be preferred).
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and category management principles and supply chain.
  • Technical Knowledge in Big Data and SQL.
