We are looking for Data and Contract Specialist to join our EDA team!
Joining the EDA (Multi-Client Earth Data Sales) team based in Crawley, UK and reporting to the Senior Contracts Supervisor, the Data and Contracts Specialist will be responsible for assisting with a wide variety of business development activities, managing sales oriented administration, managing “Big” Data, Arc-GIS mapping and assisting with the progress of multi-million dollar contracts through the business.
This role includes flexible working with a working from home rotation of 2-Days at home 3-Days locally, in the UK Crawley office.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of a new big data project, the candidate will own and manage this important project with guidance from the Senior Contracts Supervisor and EAME Data library manager.
- Working with Senior Contracts Supervisor, internal lawyers and multiple stakeholders internally to manage and progress important contracts.
- Database Administration: Contract Quality control, Database Entry, Database QC,
- Data Management projects
Essential
Key Skills and Experience
- Hands on experience in a sales / contract administration role / environment
- Experience of using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes
- Demonstrable administration experience.
- Demonstrable skills in critically analysing information / data.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience using databases – amending, updating and analysing information.
- Expert user of Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Excellent Communication skills
Desirable
- ESRI Arc-GIS or similar mapping software experience. On-site training will be provided
- Knowledge of the O&G industry
- Knowledge and experience of Seismic Processing and / or Marine Acquisition
- Experience of preparing and delivering contracts
