What You’ll Be Doing:
- Backend Architecture & Design: Architect and implement scalable backend systems using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Microservices Development: Design, build, and maintain microservices-based architectures in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- DevOps Integration: Implement CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient deployment processes and monitoring.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and lead development teams, ensuring the best practices are followed.
- Mentorship: Coach junior developers, fostering their technical growth and contributing to a collaborative learning environment.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Innovative Projects: Contribute to cutting-edge projects involving real-time processing and large-scale backend services.
What You’ll Have:
- 5+ years of experience in backend engineering with Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Strong experience in microservices architecture and cloud platforms (Azure or GCP).
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including Git, CI/CD, and monitoring tools.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with distributed systems technologies such as Kafka, Akka, or Apache Spark.
- Knowledge of database solutions like Cassandra, SQL, NoSQL, and MongoDB.
- Passion for open-source technologies and contributing to the tech community.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring teams and solving complex technical challenges.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a nice-to-have.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
