We're looking to expand our team of technical writers to help scale our LinkedIn ghostwriting offer. You'll be collaborating with our data and strategy team to create thought leadership content on behalf of our executive clients. We're looking for somebody who has at least part-time availability but is interested in scaling up to 40h per week and handling ~5-10 client accounts.

- Our pay is dependent on experience and quality of deliverables which will place you on our ladder of junior to senior writers. Junior writers start at a $20 USD/h rate.
Our Ask:
- Exceptional writer who loves learning about new technologies related to Venture Capital, Startups, AI, Data, Cybersecurity, AI etc. (We are NOT talking about somebody who likes using ChatGPT - our clients are founders and leaders in their space who want to talk intelligently about the applications of the future).
- Must be able to speak intelligently to the startup and VC community.
- Acute eye for detail. We take pride in our work and in delivering content without mistakes. The finished content must be written in native-level English
- Critical thinker who can draw non-obvious conclusions from content and present them in a concise manner that leaves an impression.
- All content delivered on time.
- Talent who is not intimidated by creating expert-level content in front of audiences ranging from pharmaceutical and real estate to 5G and venture capital.
- RESEARCH mentality. We’re all constantly learning about our client industries and have to research and create excellent content based on the research.
- Ability to create content without “fat” to trim. Every line has to draw the reader forward. Every character has to count. We don’t create fluff content. We create impactful content to serve our client audiences. Do not believe that a ChatGPT generated post will pass our quality standards (and yes, we know how to write very advanced prompts ourselves and have even trained our own models).
- Great communicator with our team internally. We expect of each other 24-hour turnaround on messages sent within our ecosystem (Asana) during the workweek.
- Talent that works in alignment with our company values: Good vibes, do what you say you’re going to do, generate results, be target-audience obsessed, and create simple solutions.
We have found that the best people for the job have a background of excellence in whatever they have done up to this point and have excelled in academic environments. They are often self-described nerds who are extremely good at recognizing patterns and love to process big chunks of information quickly. They enjoy reading Newsletters on Substack, listening to podcasts, and are the kinds of people who enjoy learning about science, history, and technology as a hobby. We care less about the background as a writer since the kind of writing we do is less about formal marketing knowledge and more about the precise interpretation of data and conclusions. We are specific about this point because the profile of a writer at GrowthMasters has more to do with a data scientist than a 'writer'. You'll be intellectually challenged by our clients on a daily basis but also get to work intimately with them and their companies. If the thought of shadowing the CEO of a billion USD cybersecurity/AI Venture Capital firm or founder of an AI startup in Silicon Valley excites you rather than intimidates you— you'll be a perfect fit on our team.
