Unikie is seeking a Lead Cloud Developer to strengthen our team in the UAE.
Location: This position is based in Abu Dhabi – UAE and relocation is a requirement.
Introduction
Unikie is looking for a Lead Cloud Developer with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure, the role will be in designing, implementing, maintaining cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, and optimizing solutions to meet business needs. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, proficiency in Azure services, and the ability to develop scalable and secure applications. As a leader in cloud architecture projects, the lead cloud developer will play a key role in shaping cloud strategy, ensuring scalability and reliability in particular topics related to cloud security.
Required Qualifications
MSc/BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Engineering, or related fields
6+ years security engineering experience
Proven experience as a Cloud Developer with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including VMs, storage, and networking.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates or Terraform.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, Golang, Rust or PowerShell.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
Azure certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of cloud design principles and best practices
Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Familiarity with security standards, compliance, and best practices in cloud environments.
Familiarity with Azure AI and machine learning services.
Knowledge of security best practices in Azure, including identity management, encryption, and compliance.
