As a Tech Lead, you will drive the development process, design new features, optimize performance, and collaborate closely with various teams. Responsibilities: Design and code new game features, ensuring performance and adherence to coding standards. Troubleshoot, debug and optimise code for performance and memory usage. Set up and maintain build pipelines for iOS and Android platforms. Implement platform-native SDKs like Singular. Collaborate closely with designers, project leads, and other team members to integrate gameplay features. Lead the development lifecycle from concept to deployment, ensuring timely delivery of milestones. Maintain and improve development tools and processes, ensuring efficiency and quality. Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment. Occasionally travel and participate in global business calls. Qualifications: 15+ years of experience in software development, specifically in game development using C++. Proven experience in senior or lead roles across multiple game projects, ideally using proprietary C++ engines. Expertise in gameplay programming, performance optimization, and debugging. Experience with Lua scripting, shader languages, and render pipelines. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and mobile development (iOS/Android). Knowledge of tools such as Jira and Confluence, with the ability to produce technical documentation. Passion for gaming, especially free-to-play mobile games.
