Graphic Designer (IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE) in SOUTH AFRICA

Quarterly is on the lookout for a talented and self-motivated Graphic Designer to enhance our company’s creative capabilities.

As a Graphic Designer in our globally distributed team, you’ll contribute to diverse expertise areas such as Branding, Web Design, Ad and Social Creative, Print Design, Presentation Design, and more. Your role will involve working on projects for both small businesses and large enterprises, independently and as part of a team. You will balance multiple projects simultaneously, much like a busy freelancer, and act as a part-time designer for 4-5 companies, keeping them informed about the status of their projects and providing timely updates on when they can expect proofs, as if you were working internally within their teams.

Responsibilities:

• Create on-brand, exciting, and compelling designs for various global clients.
• Contribute to your dedicated design team of 4-6 designers, offering ideas, suggestions, and proofing work.
• Take ownership of creative tasks to support client growth.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring precision, attention to detail, and timely delivery.
• Design across various projects, including logo and brand identity, presentation design, digital ads, marketing design, illustrations, print design, product and packaging, web design, and more.
• Collaborate with designers, directors, and project managers from around the world, fostering a dynamic and inspiring creative environment.
• Assist clients in achieving their goals through impactful designs.
• Continuously strive to learn, develop, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

• Strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint. Optional experience in Figma & After Effects is a bonus.
• Ability to learn quickly, multitask efficiently, and maintain attention to detail.
• High standards, ensuring each brief is met with precision.
• Proactive, client-centric, and execution-driven mindset.

Pay & Benefits:

This role is permanent; however, payment will be made via invoice only, as we do not have a registered entity in South Africa. By applying, you acknowledge that you are responsible for handling your taxes as per South African law.

• R350,000-R450,000 per year, depending on experience.
