C++ Developer Remote in GERMANY

Visa sponsorship & Relocation 1 year ago

Do you love solving complex problems with code?

Are you passionate about writing efficient C++ and crafting robust algorithms? If so, we'd love to get to know you.

We’re looking for inventive C++ Developers with a strong theoretical grounding. Our team is diverse, with members ranging from recent graduates in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics to seasoned professionals with extensive industry experience. Whether you’re freshly out of university or have years of hands-on development behind you, we value problem-solving skills and creativity over rigid experience levels.

If you’re skilled in C++, whether through academia or professional work, and thrive in a collaborative, idea-driven environment, you’ll fit right in.

What the Role Entails:

  • You’ll work independently, taking responsibility for designing and implementing new features.
  • You’ll need to think from the user’s perspective, collaborating with peers to discuss technical challenges and abstract concepts.
  • Each developer is expected to handle the entire software lifecycle — from architecture and coding to testing, feedback gathering, and bug fixing. We believe in empowering individuals to take full ownership of their work instead of splitting tasks among multiple roles.

Why You’ll Love It Here:

  • No tight deadlines or unnecessary meetings: We release software when it’s ready, allowing for careful, high-quality work. Meetings are held only when needed, and we invite only relevant participants. Everyone’s input is valued, regardless of seniority or title, and we welcome suggestions for improvement, even if it means revisiting the code.
  • A research-driven culture: We actively contribute to research in fields like artificial intelligence and computer graphics, and encourage our team members to do the same. We support attendance at industry conferences and maintain close ties with academic institutions in the U.S. and Germany.
  • Work-life harmony: We prioritize a balanced work culture, ensuring that you won’t need to work late nights or weekends.
  • Relocation assistance: Should you need to relocate to Berlin, we’ll guide you through the process, including work permit support. While German proficiency isn’t required, we offer free German language courses if you’re interested.

What We Offer:

  • Challenging and diverse C++ development projects
  • A world-class international team
  • A collaborative and supportive environment that fosters long-term growth
  • The time and freedom to perfect every solution
  • A flat organizational structure where innovation is encouraged at every level
  • Flexibility — no fixed schedules, no hard deadlines, and no expected overtime
  • Job budget €90,000-€130,000

Remote Work Conditions:

  • Employment through Employer of Record (EoR) or as a B2B/freelancer (you must be a legal resident in the country where you reside, or able to sign a B2B/freelancer contract)
  • Time Zones: The remote role is open to candidates living in time zones between UTC-1 and UTC+4.
  • Preferred Locations: We are particularly interested in candidates from Germany (especially those with a Ph.D. in Physics), Eastern Europe (with degrees in Computer Science, Math, or Physics), and the UK (with a focus on Computer Science graduates).
