The companies
I'm currently helping my client companies to find DevOps and Cloud Engineers for various different positions. I have clients in e.g. the following industries:
Typically the positions offer really flexible remote working opportunities, but some of them may require you to pop into their office every now and then. The majority of my clients are located in the Helsinki region or in Tampere, but occasionally there are some positions in other cities.
The job descriptions
There are different opportunities available, but the following skills will be beneficial for all positions:
Depending on the company, you might be working with embedded systems or mobile / web / desktop software. Seniority of the role can be mid-level, senior, team lead or architect.
Salary and benefits
The salaries for DevOps and Cloud Engineers typically vary between 4000e and 7000e per month, depending on your experience, the company, and the seniority of the position. The benefit packages that my clients offer are also pretty great, and the benefits vary from company cars to excellent health care and insurance packages!
