THE ROLE:
- Own and deploy software solutions for critical missions, including Counter Intrusion and Command & Control systems
- Solve challenges in networking, autonomy, and systems integration, making pragmatic engineering decisions
- Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test functionalities
- Write code to enhance products and scale mission capabilities
- Travel up to 30% for real-world deployments
- Maintain a "Whatever It Takes" mindset, prioritizing successful outcomes with a focus on quality and end-user needs
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 4+ years of C++ experience in a Linux development environment
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
- A desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact
- Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis
- Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases
PREFERRED
- Background in Physics, Mathematics, and/or Motion Planning for modeling & simulation (M&S) and physical systems.
- Feature and algorithm development expertise, including a solid understanding of behavior trees.
- Proficient in distributed communication networks and message standards.
*Competitive salary ranging from $130,000 to $240,000
