Our client is looking for an experienced Cisco SD-WAN Network Engineer with a strong background in networking and hands-on experience with a large enterprise network. As an SD-WAN Network Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our Cisco SD-WAN network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain SDWAN networks according to industry best practice
Collaborate with customers to understand their networking requirements and work with Architects and Sr. Network Engineers to provide effective solutions
Configure and mange Cisco SDWAN routers via vManage based on company standards
Knowledge of network automation tools such as Ansible, automation tools and or API scripting with Python
Conduct research on networking issues and products as required
Provide excellent customer service, troubleshooting, and technical support
Must Haves
Minimum three years of experience implementing SDWAN networks following industry best practices.
Highly skilled in consulting with customers
Strong IP communication and routing knowledge is required (OSPF, BGP).
Working technical knowledge of network and security protocols (IPSEC VPN, AAA, Dot1x, TustSec, NAT, QoS) is a plus.
Knowledge of Palo Alto security products (Next Generation Firewalls, Panorama, Prisma) is recommended.
Certifications in industry-leading network products: Cisco (CCNP)
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
