WORK YOU’LL DO
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and optimization of scalable data pipelines and workflows in cloud environments like Azure.
Support senior data engineers and architects by gathering requirements and helping to define robust data models and architecture.
Learn and apply DevOps practices, including basic Git workflows and involvement in CI/CD pipelines.
Assist in designing, developing scalable data pipelines to collect, process, and transform data from various sources
Contribute to maintaining data quality, security, and governance standards across all data-related activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business needs and quality standards.
WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Some experience or internships in data engineering or a related field, demonstrating foundational skills.
SQL proficiency and experience with programming languages such as Python or Pyspark.
Knowledge of data modeling concepts and a strong desire to learn ETL processes.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and data tools like Azure Data Factory, Airflow.
Good analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
Ability to collaborate in multinational environments.
Considered a plus:
Exposure to big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark (Databricks) is advantageous.
Familiarity with data governance and quality management principles.
Experience in implementing DevOps practices, including Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Enthusiastic about learning and adopting new technologies and methodologies.
Effective team collaboration skills and good communication abilities.
