Job Title: .NET Engineer- Consultant
Location: Chicago, IL - (Do NOT apply if you require relocation. It is not available)
Salary: $50-$70/hr
Requirements: .NETcore, C#, SQL, Angular (70% Back End, 30% Front End)
Position Overview: We are a leader in the fintech and trading space based in Chicago, and we are looking to add a talented .NET Engineer Consultant to our team! This role will be business-facing within our Global Investments group. 12 month contract (this will extend, our contractors stay on average 6 years), full benefits. The ideal candidate would be willing to go into the office 2-3 days a week located in the Loop.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop software applications utilizing .NETCore, C#, and SQL technologies.
- Troubleshoot and debug software applications.
- Identify and document any issues encountered while developing software applications.
- Maintain and support existing software applications.
- Collaborate with other team members on software design, development, and implementation.
- Test applications to ensure that they are functioning properly.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in .NETCore, C#, and SQL.
- Experience in Power BI, Angular, Software Engineering, REACT, Software Engineer, and Grosvenor technologies is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
