About The Team
As an IT Specialist at Trade Republic Bank, you will be a key member of our Mac OS-centric IT team responsible for delivering exceptional helpdesk support to our staff while also contributing to various IT projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Mac-based technology infrastructure and the success of our initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide first-line helpdesk support for internal staff, addressing hardware and software issues, network problems, and user inquiries promptly and professionally in a Mac OS environment.
- Provide exceptional support for incident and service request tickets within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure their proper functioning and security.
- Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to gather requirements, design solutions, and assist in project implementation.
- Develop and maintain scripts or code to support IT processes and automation, including proficiency in Python for coding tasks as needed for projects.
- Proficiency in tools such as OKTA, Jamf, Atlassian, and scripting for the purpose of integration and providing support.
- Create and maintain documentation related to IT systems, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest improvements and optimize IT systems.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and best practices to protect company data and infrastructure.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in Computer Science or a related field and approximately 2-3 years of experience in a technical infrastructure discipline.
- Experience in IT service delivery and customer support in an Engineering capacity.
- Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.
- Broad knowledge of personal computers, peripherals, operating systems (Mac OSX), OKTA, Jmf, Atlssian, and other common software packages.
- Experience with mobile devices (iOS and Android), voice and data networking (LAN/WAN) services, video conferencing technologies.
- Strong technical troubleshooting, problem resolution, and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing and participating in technical infrastructure-related projects.
- Structured work style with the ability to plan and prioritize workload in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the ITIL framework.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) are a plus.
