Job Role: YouTube Video Editor (Long-form)
Work Schedule: Flexible/40hrs a week

Who The Client Is: The client is the largest family-friendly pet entertainment channel on YouTube, with over 10 million followers across platforms and a primary US audience.
Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced, creative and skilled YouTube Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate is an expert in Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects, can create custom vfx with ease and understands sound design. This candidate must demonstrate an understanding of video pacing while creating compelling edits through storytelling. Ideally, this person also has experience working with engaging and high-quality content tailored for YouTube audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and produce high-quality video content for YouTube, ensuring an engaging narrative and visual storytelling
Collaborate with lead editors to understand project goals and target audience
Incorporate graphics, music, and sound effects to enhance video quality
Implement feedback from the client and team members to refine and improve videos
Stay updated on YouTube trends, best practices, and algorithm changes to optimize video performance
Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
Reformat videos in different aspect ratios optimized for different social media platforms, i.e. Instagram, Facebook & TikTok
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Video Editor, specifically for YouTube content
Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects
Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and sound design
Familiarity with YouTube's content guidelines and best practices
Ability to work collaboratively with content creators and team members
Excellent attention to detail and creativity
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
