Back-end Developers (Golang) in MALTA

We are expanding our Tech team with Back-end Developers based at our head office in Malta!

Fast Track is growing its development team at a rapid pace! We are currently looking for high-performance individuals who enjoy working with back-end development. We are using Golang as our main backend language with great success.

As a back-end developer at Fast Track you will be:

• Developing highly performant microservices
• Working with high-traffic solutions where performance is very important
• Building testable code everything from unit testing to integration testing and load testing.
• Build backend REST APIs for managing our solution.

Job requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in back-end development
• Previous experience in Golang is considered a plus
• Attentive to detail and taking great pride in your work, you care what the end user thinks of what you have done
• Passionate and consistently reads and collaborates with others to stay up to date with the latest best practices
• Relevant education/series of hobby projects to showcase your skills will be considered a plus
• Self-starter with a ‘can-do’ attitude who works well within a fast-paced environment
• Team player, bringing energy and positivity to our awesome team!

Development at Fast Track

All our infrastructure is managed with Terraform (infrastructure as code). Real-time logging of all services in Elasticsearch topped up with nice monitoring through Grafana. Microservice architecture with a RabbitMQ fuelled queue system. To further digitalise our development efforts and free up time, we have built internal build servers and monitoring tools to maintain scalability.
