Senior Fullstack Developer


We are the global leader in travel SIM card and eSIM retail. SIM Local is one of the world’s largest mobile connectivity providers in the travel sector with offices in Dublin, London and New York.


Job Summary:


You are an expert in front-end and mobile app technologies. The role owns our Front-end and mobile app architecture and implementation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver front-end, mobile app and back-end code and solutions.
  • Responsible for updating and testing Android, iOS and Web apps.

Working with your agile team colleagues, other developers and technical leaders, Scrum Master, Product Owner and UX Lead to build quality solutions that are capable of long-term testability and growth whilst delivering focused, value-driven changes to a high-quality standard. Help the team avoid performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities and help with architecture decisions while ensuring that applications run quickly, efficiently and securely with minimum oversight.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years experience in front-end technologies and platforms.
  • 2+ years experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Strong ReactJS, TypeScript, SCSS skills.
  • Spring framework, Java, SQL experience.
  • Automated/unit tests development experience.
  • Mobile hybrid (Capacitor, Cordova or similar) experience is a plus.
  • Mobile native (iOS / Android) experience is a plus.
  • Review and provide feedback on code.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional Scrum team in an agile environment using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
