React Native developer in POLAND

The Need

We are searching for an independent (Mid-Senior) React Native developer who would be the first mobile developer on our product team. This is a great opportunity to join the core team and create the product from scratch.

The Product

The product is a PFM (Personal Finance Management) mobile application that will give Gen Z and Millenials a grip on their budget and investments. Unlike our competitors, we automate and create this journey for our clients based on their data and financial habits. We also use a Large Language Model to help us better understand the data although this is not an AI product in general.

The Team & Process

We are starting with an MVP, which we'll iterate on to reach the product-market fit. Finishing the MVP should take us 5-6 months. The team is mostly Poland-based (the dev team and one of the founders), although the company is registered in Lisbon, Portugal.

The team will be quite small for the MVP phase, as it will include a technical leader (NodeJS, AWS, React, React Native), you (React Native), a UI designer, a design lead (consultant), and a product manager.

The Role

The role is fully remote and on a full-time basis, we offer a B2B contract with no additional benefits at this point. This will change as we grow, and you will take part in that scaling process too.

Depending on the experience, the rate is 20-30 euros per hour, so if you'll work 160 hours on average, your monthly salary will be 3200-4800 euros.

Your profile:

• at least 3 years of experience with React Native. You will work on a cross-platform app for iOS and Android, but not for the web.
• proactive and curious, as we want to hear and see your ideas in action
• experience with creating products from scratch, preferably some of them are still available in the App Store & Play Store. You should know the full cycle of life of a React Native mobile app.
• communicating freely in English, both writing & speaking so B2+ level is a minimum requirement (although the dev team speaks Polish internally)
• not afraid to work in a startup environment, with many changes going on & ownership to take, as it's very different from a corporate job
• builder mindset
• a bit of a sense of humor would be great too
